Sodality of Mary after First Saturday Mass at St. Michael’s

A group of ladies met after 1st Saturday Mass in August and have decided to form a Sodality of Mary as part of the Regina Caeil Latin Mass Community. The inspiration came after listening to some of the former members of Fr. Demet’s (FSSP) Community in Arkansas and finding out what they did.


The group will use Fr. Lasance’s Catholic Girls’ Guide for study material and for the format of the Sodality meetings each month. The book is available on the FSSP website as well as from other sources. In addition to the Sodality format, members will learn and sing seasonal Marian hymns with the goal of singing them at Mass in the future.

This group is open to all ladies, single and married, 7th grade and older. For the first meeting, please read the first chapter in Fr. Lasance’s book and be prepared to discuss it. You can also read about the Sodality and the meeting format in the back part of the book.

Meeting will take place in St. Leo’s hall after Mass and breakfast. Potluck breakfast is being arranged.
